![]() How do I disable debugging mode without bricking the AVR?Įverything works fine until I klick the "Finish Debugging Session" button, from that moment on the AVR is basically bricked and needs to be restored with a HVPP programmer (unless I'm mistaken). I am also able to debug the program on the chip, but now the tricky part. I am also able to program the AVR with the Atmel-ICE in debugWIRE mode. I am able to enable debugWIRE by setting the following fuses: -U lfuse:w:0圆2:m -U hfuse:w:0x9f:m -U efuse:w:0xf9:m (found here: ) The Microchip I use in an Atmega168P which supports debugWIRE I've also got an Atmel-ICE and am trying to debug on Linux with MPLABX ![]() Hi, I have a similar question so I hope it's OK that I reply here and not start a new one? ![]()
